NYCGB offers the best young singers from across Great Britain exceptional performance experiences and vocal tuition on residential courses held during school Easter and summer holidays. Most members return year after year, progressing through the choirs from Primary 7 (Primary 6 for boy trebles) up to age 22.
Bursaries are available to cover any kind of cost for those who need it, including audition fee and travel expenses, and for those offered a place, the cost of uniform right up to full course costs, so anyone can apply.
In 2013 the NYCGB celebrates its 30th anniversary with a performance of Monteverdi’s Vespers in the Royal Albert Hall at Easter, and a full programme of activities during the summer holidays.
To audition in Glasgow on Monday 3 December, singers need to complete an application form and send it to the NYCGB main office. More information and the application form are at www.nycgb.net/join-nycgb.
