  The School of Hard Knocks is excited to invite you to join our un-auditioned project choir for a “once in a lifetime” opportunity to sing alongside the ‘choir that inspired the nation’ from the ABC TV smash series, Choir of Hard Knocks as they perform at QPAC for the first time to celebrate their 10th anniversary as part of their first national ‘Hope & Inspiration’ tour.

  
  Launching Mental Health Week 2016, this joyous musical celebration will be conducted by Dr Jonathon Welch AM and also joining you on stage will be the School’s Absolutely Everybody Brisbane Choir and other special guest artists.
  
  REGISTRATION FEE: $49 Adult | $39 Conc/U18
  (Donation to Choir of Hard Knocks to assist in covering the costs of facilitating the massed choir rehearsals and performance in Brisbane.)
  Includes: 4 x Rehearsals, Music Files and 1 x Performance

   

  REHEARSALS:

  • Saturday 17 September | St Andrew’s Uniting Church, Cnr Ann & Creek Streets, Brisbane | 1 – 4pm
  • Saturday 24 September | Coorparoo Secondary College, Cnr Stanley Street East & Cavendish Roads, Coorparoo | 1 – 4pm
  • Saturday 1 October | Coorparoo Secondary College | 1 – 4pm
  • Friday 7 October | QPAC Concert Hall, South Brisbane | 5 – 7pm

  Rehearsals 1 and 2 are with SOHK Qld Conductor, Melissa Gill; Rehearsals 3 and 4 are with Dr Jonathon Welch AM

  Prior to registering, please check your availability to attend the majority of rehearsals and in particular the final rehearsal on
  1 October and the sound check on 7 October at QPAC.
