With the recent events of the siege in Martin Place and terrorism in Paris, the Sydney premiere of STREET REQUIEM will be performed at Verbrugghen Hall, Sydney Conservatorium, on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 8PM.
A concert in memory of those who died in Martin Place and Paris. Funds raised by this event will support beyondblue, the charity chosen by Tori Johnson’s family, the Katrina Dawson Foundation and School of Hard Knocks programs in Sydney..
STREET REQUIEM will feature acclaimed soloists Sydney-based Cheryl Barker, soprano, and Dr Jonathon Welch AM, tenor, joined by members of the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Choir, Macarthur Singers, Door in the Wall, and THECHO!R from Melbourne. The performance will be conducted by Jonathon Welch and Kathleen McGuire.
