The members of Bridgnorth Choral Society are having a very busy time in the build up to Christmas. Every Friday and Saturday in December they are entertaining dinner guest at the house at Weston Park. This has become a very popular event at Weston Park with the dinners being sold out.
The choral Society will be performing their Christmas Concert at the Baptist Church in Bridgnorth on Sunday the 15th December. They will be joined by ‘Encore’ the successful Olbury Wells School choir. The programme is sure to uplift everyone, mixing the old favourite carols with new Christmas songs like Jerry Herman’s ‘’We Need a Little Christmas’’ from the musical Mame. Popular Soprano Jayne Davies will be singing ‘Sleep my Saviour Sleep’ and the very popular ‘O Holy Night’.
We are hoping the Sunday evening choice will help attendance at this very busy time of year, said Nerys Arch, Society’s press office, for £5 this really is a great value night out.
