Fantastic idea - it's free, it's flexible, it's fun: a Messiah for young choirs at London's Royal Albert Hall, with free places for 1000 singers! The Scratch Youth Messiah is on Sunday 1 December with combined youth choirs plus professional orchestra and soloists conducted by choral champion Suzi Digby OBE.
All school, university and youth choirs (max. age 25) can come and sing, learning as much of the music as they can. For those who don't know Messiah this could be as little as the three best-known choruses, while experienced SATB youth or university choirs can sing everything (11 choruses in total); upper-voice choirs are equally welcome.
