WIN A COMPOSITION
International Video-Competition for Treble and Women's Choirs
The „AS Musikverlag (Tholey/Saar)“ and the Composer Alwin Michael Schronen organize an extraordinary competition in 2015:
An international Video-Competition for Treble and Women's Choirs.
In this international Video Competition for Treble and Women's Choirs you can win a very special prize:
a new a cappella composition of Alwin Michael Schronen dedicated to the winner and specifically tailored to the choir.
There is also an Audience Award.
How it works: A Treble or Women's Choir sings a given choral work of SCHRONEN.
There are two difficulty levels, each with a choral work in a medium difficulty level and in a high difficulty level.
The choir must record the choral work on video and upload it to YouTube.
The composer and the 10-member high-profile international jury (USA, Japan, Netherlands, Philippines, Germany)
determine the winners among all the videos:
1. Renier Aguilar – Philippines
2. Bine Becker-Beck - Germany
3. Prof. Matthias Beckert - Germany
4. Jürgen Faßbender - Germany
5. Dr. Tim Koch - USA
6. Hans-Joachim Lustig – Germany
7. Dion Ritten - Netherlands
8. Prof. Jan Schumacher - Germany
9. Martin Winkler - Germany
10. Chunlung Lin - Taiwan
In addition to the two jury awards for the two levels of difficulty there is also an „Audience Award“ - and therefore the videos on YouTube:
The choir whose performance contribution receives the most "Likes (thumbs up)" on YouTube wins a voucher of 500 euros from AS Musikverlag.
