AFRICA CHORAL AND GOSPEL CHAMPIONSHIP SA-2021
The African Gospel and Choral Championship (ACGC) is a platform to bring as many
African talents as possible together, in a host Country, and give them as much exposure as
time will allow. It is also to celebrate African music with the motive of uniting nations
through their complex arts that can be effectively demonstrated to positively position Africa
as truly a haven of musical talents.
Following a very successful Launch of the Organisation in Accra-Ghana in November
2020, which witnessed the participation of renowned African Choirs as well as a host of the
finest African Soloists from within Africa and in the diaspora, the Organisation is set to
host the 1
st edition of the AFRICAN CHORAL AND GOSPEL CHAMPIONSHIP from
the 22nd to the 29th of November,2021 in South Africa.
In this year’s ACGC-SA2021, there will be both Competitive and Non-Competitive
categories opened to all Ensembles of all age and gender i.e. Children/Youth Choirs,
Male/Female Choirs (Professional and Institutional) Church Choirs and Soloists.
It is also opened to Individuals who may want to travel and join us as Observers for the
entire Event
Registration fee for Groups/Choirs is USD 150 and for Soloists/Observers is USD 50.
Participation fee per head is USD 350 -Double Occupancy (Room Sharing) and USD 500
per head – Single Occupancy (One in a room)
Please note that this package fee is inclusive of Feeding (Breakfast and Dinner),
Accommodation for 7 overnights and 8 days, Inland Transportation to and from all ACGC
activities as well as all administrative costs for your comfort and safety during your stay)
