There are no auditions and the standard of music that we produce is consistently high. We are regularly supported by high quality professional soloists and orchestras with the result that we produce highly enjoyable and satisfying concerts for audience and singers alike. We believe that anyone who enjoys singing should be able to experience the fun of making music with other people. All we ask is enthusiasm and a willingness to join in! Whilst in all parts of the Choir we have some excellent singers, capable and willing to perform solo or in small groups this is not a requirement for joining. Typically we perform four concerts each season and rehearsals are held each Tuesday evening during school term-time at the Sele School in Hertford. We rehearse at the Bernie Grant Arts Centre on Tuesday evenings from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. We aim to unite and represent our Community through our joy of singing. The Choir has over sixty singers rehearsing each week and the main focus in rehearsals is preparation for performances. These performances can take the form of concerts and appearances in festivals and other events in the local Community.

We look for the unknown and the unsung. Composers such as Robert White, Jean Mouton and Jean L'Heritier are amongst our repertoire. In addition we champion the music from current composers such a Miskinis, Part and Dubra. In addition we love singing Tallis, Byrd and Tomkins, Tye, Victoria, Guerrero and Padilla etc! We are based in Milton Keynes and have a reputation as being among the very best in the region. We are available for concerts and weddings, plus services in cathedrals and churches. We have provided the services at key UK cathedrals including Westminster Abbey, Salisbury, Hereford and Coventry to name a few.  less
