arr. Alejandro D. Consolacion II
CANTUS
Festival Brass
Alejandro Consolacion, organ
Franz Miguel Ramirez, conductor
1. When in our Music God is glorified,
and adoration leaves no room for pride,
it is as though the whole creation cried,
Hallelujah!
2. How often, making Music, we have found
a new dimension in the world of sound,
as worship moved us to a more profound
Hallelujah!
3. So has the church, in liturgy and song,
in faith and love, through centuries of wrong,
borne witness to the truth in every tongue:
Hallelujah!
4. and did not Jesus sing a Psalm that night
when utmost evil strove against the Light?
Then let us sing, for whom he won the fight:
Hallelujah!
5. Let every instrument be tuned for praise!
Let all rejoice who have a voice to raise!
and may God give us faith to sing always:
Hallelujah! Amen. less

Our name reflects our roots in the telephony and technology sectors as we originally formed as a workplace Choir in BT’s Edinburgh offices. We’ve since grown and attracted members from outside of our workplace.
Led by Aly Skidmore, our vision from the outset was to build a dynamic performance Choir for amateur singers. Under Aly’s Musical direction, the Choir has developed rapidly and grown significantly in both quality and reputation, receiving wide acclaim.
The RingTones have been booked for a wide mix of charity, showcase and corporate events such as the Scottish Rugby Union’s Annual Awards 2015, Eden Festival 2015, the BT Scotland Annual General Meeting, the Scottish Parliament, Sports Relief, the Great Scot Awards 2014.
We have also staged our own fundraising performances at venues such as Waverley Train Station, John Lewis Edinburgh and Our Dynamic Earth. The Choir has also organized their own, independent fundraising concerts a... less
