Known for fun, musical diversity and standing room only concerts, we celebrate all genres of music from old school gospel, to current uplifting pop, to civil rights anthems, to traditional songs from nations all over the world. 60 voices strong, the Universal Gospel Choir is an open, justice-oriented group celebrating the best of choral music and committed to lifting and inspiring the human spirit.

Au fil des années, la chorale a gagné en maturité artistique et les choristes qui rejoignaient les différents pupitres portaient désormais à leur actif des aptitudes vocales, musicales et humaines. Le répertoire chanté a également évolué vers des chants plus sophistiqués avec des polyphonies et des arrangements plus complexes mais qui gardent élégance et légèreté. Accompagnant cette évolution humaine et artistique marquant sa migration d’un chœur de jeunes à un chœur d’adultes, le Chœur des Jeunes de Casablanca a dû changer de dénomination et a adopté un nom autant fidèle à son identité qu’à sa nouvelle structure. Dès lors, le chœur des Jeunes de Casablanca devient « Chorale CASASAWT ». Also winning ...  moreIn the World Choir Championships which was held in Graz, Austria between 10th-17th July 2011, Boğaziçi Jazz Choir became the 'WORLD CHAMPION' in Contemporary Music and Folklore categories, and got the 'second prize' in Mixed Choirs category. Also winning 2 more gold medals in 'Grand Prix of Choral Music' the champions competed in, the Choir has come back to Turkey with a total of 5 gold medals.
