We aim to be The most ent...  moreAlthough we only became The City of Truro Male Choir in 2003, we can trace our singing forefaThers back to two local village choirs formed in The 1940s. These were Chacewater & District Male Choir and Carnon Vale Male Choir. We aim to be The most entertaining male voice choir in The South West and for The City of Truro to be proud of us. The ethos of The choir is to have fun and enjoy singing. Each year we host a visiting choir and also spend a weekend away. We are a registered charity, and our current membership is over 50.We give approximately a dozen concerts a year  less

It features people with disabilites and those without, from every section of The community in NorThern Ireland. The age range is extensive, from seventeen to over seventy but most importantly members are united by Their love of singing. This superb venue has a naturally occurring 5 second reverb, this recording was not enhanced in any way and was taken straight from a JVC HD Camera mixing in Final Cut Pro.

"Esperança" pretende combater os receios mais pessimistas dos tempos que correm. É um projeto arrojado, irreverente, e ousado que pretende representar o sentimento generalizado dos portugueses. Os coralistas são literalmente presos à corda (ou salvos pelas molas), perderam o rosto e o lugar. Cantam numa situação desconfortável com variados obstáculos. Só a música consegue furar essas barreiras revelando a esperança em todo o seu esplendor.  less

"Tonight, Tonight" is from West Side Story with lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and music by Leonard Bernstein. It was adapted for barbershop by Jay Giallombardo and made famous by The quartet "Acoustix". Danny and I transcribed it in The fall of 2008 and it has become one of our favourite songs to sing in The quartet.
