Th...  moreThe girls quartet in which Manca Simonič, Urška Brank, Ana Plemenitaš and Višnja Fičor are singing is called Gallina, in translation pullet. But the only association is their liveliness, ease and wittiness. The group was established in the end of 2010. The girls were singing together in several acknowledged Slovene choirs and they all still sing in varied singing groups (RTV Chamber Choir, Opera Choir SNT Opera and Ballet Ljubljana, Vocal Group iZbor …) The leader of the group is a promising young conductor Ana Erčulj, who is regularly attending masterclasses led by Slovene and foreign experts. Besides ordinarily performance they are working on implementation of the program by binding singing with other arts such as dancing and visuality. Their reperoaire consist of slovenian folk music, vocal jazz and pop. Gallina is working with young composers and encourage them to write for female quartet in different styles. Toujours à la recherche de r...  moreL’ensemble vocal Para L’Elles, créé en septembre 2011 par Agnès BLIN au sein de l’École Municipale des Musiques et de Danse de MONTMAGNY (95 Val-d’Oise), explore le répertoire pour voix de femmes de la Renaissance à nos jours. Toujours à la recherche de répertoires originaux, l’ensemble interprète soit des œuvres écrites initialement pour ensemble vocal féminin, soit des adaptations pour ce type de formation. Depuis sa création, Para L’Elles s’est déjà produit plusieurs fois en Ile-de-France (Paris et banlieue) et dans le Périgord, individuellement et lors de rencontres musicales, soit a cappella soit accompagné au piano ou par un ensemble instrumental. L’ensemble est actuellement constitué de sept chanteuses amateurs confirmées, venues d’univers professionnels très différents mais que la passion du chant réunit. Our diverse vocal programme is for 14-18 year olds who love to sing, are keen to develop their choral technique, improve their ensemble singing and explore a diverse range of vocal styles. We sing a challenging and exciting repertoire encompassing many genres, and ensure that students gain a deep understanding of these musical styles through the guidance of sectional tutors and voice specialists.  less

In recent years, works which we have performed include Bach ‘Magnificat’, ...  moreWe are an 80-strong SATB choir in our 55th season and, while we sing a varied repertoire, we are best known for our spirited performances of the great and exciting choral works. In recent years, works which we have performed include Bach ‘Magnificat’, Vivaldi ‘Gloria’, Mozart ‘Requiem’, Orff ‘Carmina Burana’, Rossini ‘Stabat Mater’, Dvorak ‘Mass in D’, Tippett ‘A Child of our Time’, Handel 'Messiah' and Verdi ‘Requiem’.' We engage professional soloists and orchestra, to perform with the choir. Since March 2015 our Musica Director is Adam Treadaway. We perform three concerts a year at St George's Church Beckenham with weekly rehearsals from September to June at the St George's Church Hall. These venues are close to Beckenham Junction Rail and Tram Stations and on many bus routes. Car parking is also available at the St George's public car park.  less

We are an amateur choral group based out of Richardson, Texas in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. We sing a wide variety of music from sacred Christmas, to Broadway and show tunes in the spring.

Bandits ambush others on the road. They get wealth, but they stay in one place. Lovers keep moving, never the same, not for a second! What makes others grieve, they enjoy! When they look angry, don't believe their faces. It's spring lightning, a joke before the rain. They chew thorns thoughtfully along with pasture grass. Gazelle and lioness, having dinner. Love is invisible except here, in us. Sometimes I praise love; sometimes love praises me. Love, a little shell somewhere on the ocean floor, opens its mouth. The Seagrave Singers are an award winning all-female choir. It is our aim to bring enjoyment to others and ourselves by delivering a high quality performance. We present our own concerts bi-annually and organise concerts to assist with fundraising.

The members of the Ensemble are all amateurs and have the same ideal that their performance can touch the heart of every audience through their well-trained voices. Their repertoires include folk songs, classical songs, musical pieces, pops, and premiere works by renowned composers. In March 2011, Plaisir Ensembe achieved a great success in the “1st Vietnam International Choir Festival and Competition” organized by the INTERKULTUR. They won the Gold Diploma, the Category Winner as well as the Overall Winner of Chamber Choirs. The Ensemble is one of the Top 50 Female Choirs in the Musica Mundi World Ranking List.  less
