Good Noise has Performed with artists such as Barbra Streisand, David Foster, Josh Groban, Holly Cole, Daniel Lapp, Dee Daniels, Jim byrnes, John Lee Sanders, Jennifer Scott, Karin Plato, Kate Hammett-Vaughan, and has appeared on CBC TV, CBC Radio, Global TV, CityTV, Bravo, Knowledge Network and Vision TV. The choir has Performed at several festivals, including the Vancouver Folk Festival, Envision Jazz Festival and the Wintersong Festival. In the Fall of 2013, Good Noise was featured live in concert in an episode for a new television series on Vision TV, “Gospel To Go”. The choir has also been featured in a television Christmas gospel music special “Tell It On The Mountain” on the Bravo Network, Vision Network and the Knowledge Network and featured in the Disney corporation’s promotion of the musical “The Lion King”. Initially, the singers Performed mainly in their home town and neighbouring areas, actively accumulating experience for their first serious contest, the Latvian National Contest for Vocal Ensembles, in 1999. Success amongst the tough competition in the category of female ensembles encouraged the singers to participate in international contests, resulting only in awards. Success increases the joy of singing and in order to spread positive emotions to a greater number of vocal music admirers, Anima Solla began concert trips to the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, France, Poland, Lithuania and Australia. Anima Solla has three different concert programmes – sacred music, compositions of Latvian composers and folk song arrangements, as well as jazz and popular music. Their philanthropic mission of Nashville Singers is to provide funding and support for music education in our schools and the community.
