The strength of mutual purpose pleads more earnestly our common needs; and from the stillness, multiplied by these still forms on either side. Plaisir Ensemble was found in March 2005 by renowned tenor and conductor Mr. Man Kin-Ping, the Art Director and Conductor of the Ensemble. The members of the Ensemble are all amateurs and have the same ideal that their performance can touch the heart ...  morePlaisir Ensemble was found in March 2005 by renowned tenor and conductor Mr. Man Kin-Ping, the Art Director and Conductor of the Ensemble. The members of the Ensemble are all amateurs and have the same ideal that their performance can touch the heart of every audience through their well-trained voices. Their repertoires include folk songs, classical songs, musical pieces, pops, and premiere works by renowned composers. In March 2011, Plaisir Ensembe achieved a great success in the “1st Vietnam International Choir Festival and Competition” organized by the INTERKULTUR. They won the Gold Diploma, the Category Winner as well as the Overall Winner of Chamber Choirs. The Ensemble is one of the Top 50 Female Choirs in the Musica Mundi World Ranking List.  less

A choir based in Kumasi, Ghana. We render tremendous music of various choral genres. Very committed to what we do.

We are an 80-strong SATB choir in our 55th season and, while we sing a varied repertoire, we are best known for our spirited performances of the great and exciting choral works. In recent years, works which we have performed include Bach ‘Magnificat’, ...  moreWe are an 80-strong SATB choir in our 55th season and, while we sing a varied repertoire, we are best known for our spirited performances of the great and exciting choral works. In recent years, works which we have performed include Bach ‘Magnificat’, Vivaldi ‘Gloria’, Mozart ‘Requiem’, Orff ‘Carmina Burana’, Rossini ‘Stabat Mater’, Dvorak ‘Mass in D’, Tippett ‘A Child of our Time’, Handel 'Messiah' and Verdi ‘Requiem’.' We engage professional soloists and orchestra, to perform with the choir. Since March 2015 our Musica Director is Adam Treadaway. We perform three concerts a year at St George's Church Beckenham with weekly rehearsals from September to June at the St George's Church Hall. These venues are close to Beckenham Junction Rail and Tram Stations and on many bus routes. Car parking is also available at the St George's public car park.  less

We are an amateur choral group based out of Richardson, Texas in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. We sing a wide variety of music from sacred Christmas, to Broadway and show tunes in the spring.

They take their name after Bruce Springsteen’s album The Seeger Sessions, since their first concert took place at a lecture on American Folk Music when Springsteen was touring Italy in 2006. In 2011 they published their first CD, Songs of Freedom, a collection of protest songs with a strong connection to the Civil Rights Movement. In 2015 TSV published their first original single, “Graces (Dropping Again)” written by ZogaroS. In 2017 TSV will release a concept album of 16 songs and vocal interludes composed and produced by all the girls. “Broken Dream”, written by Chiara Cortez and Emanuele Jorma Gasperi, is the first single published to launch the record.  less
