Within the choir there are acting two ensembles: children’s choir «Brevis» (vocalists from 13 to 18 years of age) and a Vocal ensemble «Brevis» (girls choir - vocalist from 18 to 30 years of age). All of the vocalists started their «internship in singing» with well-known children’s choir of Osijek, i.e. «Osječki zumbići» (Tiny mosquitoes of Osijek). Up-to-now, the choir had a series of successful performances throughout the territory of Croatia - in Osijek, Zagreb, Split, Varaždin, Šibenik and also abroad - in Orašje (Bosnia & Herzegovina), Budapest, Pecs (Hungary), Athens (Greece), Salzburg, Graz, Klagenfurt, Villach, Wienna (Austria), Pforzheim, Munich, Düseldorf, Speyer, Sindelfingen, Mosbach (Germany), Helsingborg (Sweden),Xiamen (China), USA (New York), Canada, (Montreal, Toronto), Bulgaria (Varna), Poland (Poznan). Boosting about 190 choristers ages 5 to 18, the HCC offers Youth vocal training and music instruction to foster creative expression and appreciation of music. Its latest choir program, Lads & Gents, is a boys choir program that provides young male singers (ages 8 to 28) with an opportunity to explore their choral instrument within a safe, supportive environment, surrounded by other boys and young men. An internationally-acclaimed and award-winning choir, the HCC has been invited to tour across Canada, Europe and more recently Saint-Lô, France for the Polyfollia concert (Oct. 21-26, 2014), a biennial world showcase and marketplace for choral singing.
