We are passionate about polyphony! We Love to sing Music from regions around The world which have a strong tradition of singing in harmony. Music from Eastern Europe, Georgia, Africa and Jamaica etc finds its way into our repertoire. We also Love to sing some BeautIful classical works and Mozart, Bortniansky and Bach is much Loved by The singers. Most of our Music is unaccompanied, except when our very talented instrumentalists (guitar, harp, cello, ukes, bodhran...) bring Their instruments. less

The Chanterelles is a ladies choir from all over The UK. Originating from a Leicestershire youth choir and reforming as an adult choir in February 2009, memBers now come togeTher to perform about five times each year.
Having tasted success as a Youth Choir in Llangollen in 1998, The choir returned in Their new guise as a Female Choir In July 2010, winning Their section and taking Their place in The Choir of The World competition.
This success was followed by concerts in Macclesfield and Birmingham and a win at The North Wales Choral Festival in NovemBer 2011.
In 2012, The choir competed in The Fleischmann International Trophy Competition at The Cork Choral Festival and won 2nd prize in this year's International Eisteddfod in Llangollen.
