The success of this project led to a charity performance of Messiah co-directed by Patrick and Peter Holman at The Swinburne Hall, Colchester Institute, which was part broadcast by Classic FM. Since Then The choir has presented three or four concerts each season in Colchester (usually at St. Botolph's Church), often featuring baroque music. Anyone wishing to sing is welcome and invited to come to a rehearsal prior to committing to The group. No auditions are necessary. we also sing in a yearly competition called Saengerfest held in June each year. Members chorus' are: Altoona, Williamsport, Reading, Lebanon and Mon Yough. Each chorus hosts The competition on a rotating basis. Rehearsals are held each Sunday at Sampsons MIlls Presbyterian Church at 1665 Lincoln Way in White Oak, PA 15131 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The Mon Yough Chorale was formerly known as The Mon Yough Community Singers. The Mon Yough Chorale has a long history in The Mon Valley.
