Our repertoire ranges from the traditional to the contemporary, from sacred to 'songs from the shows', from Wagner to Rod Stewart. We maintain a good baLAnce of concert and social activities. We practice every Tuesday night from 7.45pm to 9.30pm at Stithians Methodist Chapel. We have made a number of recordings including (with Stithians LAdies Choir) five well known Sankey Albums. Founded in 1977, the Choir has gained a well-deserved reputation for performing neglected and unfamiliar music as well as better known and popuLAr pieces, both sacred and secuLAr. New members are welcome and encouraged to attend three rehearsals before an informal voice appraisal.
