There is an equal e...  moreVox Virorum is a community men's choral ensemble for the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill region of North Carolina. Goals are to create a place for men to hone and renew their love of singing, and to provide a home in the choral community. There is an equal emphasis on musical excellence and camaraderie. Male singers age 18 and up, of all experience levels are invited to join.

Takemitsu’s signature sound, featuring rich harmonies colouring melodious refrains, shines through in this conversational and thoughtful piece. This children's Chorus quickly became one of the most dynamic Choruses in the city. The Kinderchor, which means "children's Chorus" and the Jugendchor, which means "Youth Chorus", attribute their success to the dedication to the children. Membership is open to all children regardless of nationality, recognizing the shared German heritage so prevalent to Central Ohio. While our focus remains the children and the children's choral music, gatherings and trips are planned to include the entire family. Concert group counts about 60 people, mainly students, academic teachers and friends outside college. Our repertoire has about 80 a capella works (from medieval to contemporary composers), large sacred forms by Haendel, Mozart and Mendellsohn Bartholdy and 40 carols. We have performed at several festivals and international events (Germany, France, Switzerland, Bulgaria). We are interested in a close partnership with the other choirs outside Poland (exchange tours and joint appearances)  less
