It is made up of local people from Stirling and the surrounding areas, aged 15yrs old to 65yrs old, from students to nurses to teachers...and their repertoire includes Songs by surprising bands and singers such as the Kings of Leon and Primal Scream. After only 2 months together, the Heart of Scotland Choir were delighted to be given the opportunity to sing at Stirling Castle’s 2010 Hogmanay Celebrations which then led to a spot on Ewen Cameron’s Real Radio Breakfast Show in the same week! 2011 has proved to be a phenomenal year for the HOS Choir. they have performed at numerous charity events across the central belt of Scotland, sold out their first concert at Stirling's Albert Halls, and appeared on John Barrowman's BBC1 show Tonight's the Night....they are now working towards their next Albert Halls concert in December 2011 and making plans to record Second Summer along with...    less

Coaching and conducting is provided by Bishop Grosseteste University College Community Music Development Co-ordinator Annie Walker. the emphases for members of Vocal Authority is very firmly on having fun - whether they are singing Latin rounds or modern chart hits, they aim to do it with a big smile on their faces!

But the only association is their liveliness, ease and wittiness. the group was established in the end of 2010. the girls were singing together in several acknowledged Slovene choirs and they all still sing in varied singing groups (RTV Chamber Choir, Opera Choir SNT Opera and Ballet Ljubljana, Vocal Group iZbor …) the leader of the group is a promising young conductor Ana Erčulj, who is regularly attending masterclasses led by Slovene and foreign experts. Besides ordinarily performance they are working on implementation of the program by binding singing with other arts such as dancing and visuality. their reperoaire consist of slovenian Folk music, vocal jazz and pop. Gallina is working with young composers and encourage them to write for female quartet in different styles.
