Student membership includes students from all disciplines that love to sing and enjoy camaraderie through great music. It is intended to provide a foundation in area of vocal technique while achieving a high standard of excellence in repertoire selected from all periods and musical styles. This ensemble is offered every fall and spring semester.

Each season we perform choral mast...  moreThe Nashoba Valley Chorale is a mixed-voice chorus with 90+ members based in Littleton, Massachusetts. Our singers come together from a wide range of towns in Eastern and Central Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. Each season we perform choral masterworks with professional soloists and a professional orchestra. We have recently performed: the Mozart Requiem, the Mass in B Minor by J.S. Bach and Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle, Carmina Burana, Ola Gjeilo Dark Night of The Soul, and currently rehearsing the Verdi Messa Da Requiem under the artistic leadership of conductor Anne Watson Born. We love making great music together, and we work hard in rehearsals to bring an expressive and thrilling sound to our performances. We are a jovial and friendly group of people from all walks of life who enjoy singing together.  less

As its name implies (the phrase "Rosh Tov" in Hebrew connotes fun and a good atmosphere), this group has a light, vivacious character alongside its serious professional aspirations. Its repertoire includes lots of rhythm: international and Israeli pop songs, Beatles, Gershwin, musicals - all arranged by Jeanne in five part harmony. Among its most successful performances to date: "Sealed With A Kiss" (2007, 2008), special tribute evenings to lyricists Yoram Teharlev and Shimrit Or (produced by the Rosh-HaAyin Municipality), second place in the choir competition "Kol Rishon" (Rishon LeZion, Succoth, 2008), and semi-final status in the "Zemer Lach Artzi" competition, 2010. When they perform, you can feel the choir’s joy and dedication and the passion for music which is shared by the 45 members and their conductor Friedrich-Wilhelm Möller. In addition to pop songs, the repertoire comprises pieces of latin, gospel, jazz and swing music for up to eight voices and primarily a cappella. The choir is made up of students (both of Valley View University and others universities), workers and old students of the university. The group is vehemently dedicated to the mission of winning souls for Christ through song evangelism. The choir has over the years committed itself to staging concerts and singing quality choral gospel and patriotic songs to win souls for God and instilling patriotism in Ghanaian citizens and other African countries. In the near future the choir plans a Christmas concert (22-12-2012) at the Rondo Histriae Concert Hall in Pula. There will be a variety of seasonal classical and popular evergreens.

Maite Rodríguez y está integrado por más de cuarenta cantantes, algunos de ellos músicos profesionales, otros docentes, estudiantes de música o cantantes aficionados, en algunos casos con largas trayectorias en el ambiente coral de nuestro país. Todos, con distintos perfiles y edades, unidos por la pasión hacia la música y el canto coral. Desde el comienzo, el ensamble tiene por objetivo investigar la música coral a capella de los siglos XX y XXI -sacra, profana y popular- de compositores tanto de Latinoamérica como de Europa. El interés estuvo puesto en traer a nuestro medio músicas con planteos compositivos novedosos y arreglos que acercan a los distintos folklores, aportando timbres, ritmos y la fuerza de la tradición propia de cada pueblo.
