The group was founded in 2001 in Leioa's the Music School by Basilio Astulez, its current conductor. Kantika's repertorie has always balanced folk, sacrum and contemporary Music. Due to the projects such as operas, international tours and TV concerts the Choir enjoys a fine popularity.

During the Choir’s existence, it has taken part in many Musical Festivals, and proven its quality by winning many first prizes, and has been joined in concert by world renowned soloists and Choirs from Britain and America. Every year, the Choir perform around twenty concerts throughout Cumbria, raising thousands of pounds for charitable organisations and other worthy causes. The services of the Choir are provided entirely free of charge to the organisations they perform for. Outside the county they have performed in such notable venues as The Royal Albert Hall, London; on three occasions, Cardiff Arms Park; twice, Sheffield Arena and in Edinburgh. Each b...  moreFounded in 2002, Òran is part of Edmonton's Kokopelli Choir Association. Òran began as an alumni offshoot of the Kokopelli Youth Choir, but it has since developed into a group made up of young adults from all over Edmonton and the surrounding area. Each brings a different viewpoint to the group, but all are united in their passion for singing. The Choir stresses the same philosophical goals as its younger counterpart, striving to achieve Musical excellence and artistic integrity, as well as combining new interpretive techniques with more traditional choral expertise. Above all, the group is dedicated to sharing joy in song with each other, with other Choirs, and with audiences around Edmonton and across Canada. Our choristers' talents and Musicality are nurtured, their voices are trained, they are taught correct diction and Musical expression. We aid harmonious growth - in terms of both Musical and personal development of our vocalists. Alla Polacca Children and Youth Choir is affiliated with the Teatr Wielki/Grand Theatre - Polish National Opera in Warsaw. The Choir consists of 200 choristers performing in four age groups. The Choir was founded three decades ago by Sabina Wlodarska, a recognized Music educator and student of maestro Stefan Stuligrosz. Bairstow, Poem by Shelly) Das "Ensemble quartonal" wurde im Jahr 2006 von vier ehemaligen Mitgliedern der Chorknaben Uetersen gegründet. Im Mai 2010 konnte das junge Quartett beim Deutschen Chorwettbewerb den 1. Preis in der erstmals ausgeschriebenen Kategorie der klassischen Ensembles gewinnen und wurde damit über die Landesgrenzen hinaus bekannt. Diese Aufnahme stammt von einem Konzert im Lübecker Dom.

It was founded in 1936 as the Dow Male Chorus with membership from the men of the Dow Chemical Company. In 1961, Dow discontinued its Music Department and the chorus became the Men of Music and along with the rest of the Dow Music Department formed The Music Society under director Ted Vosburgh. Since then there were several women directors who continued to lead the chorus. The Men of Music continues today providing excellant men's four part harmony with our present very talented director, Grace Marra, who joined the chorus in 1994. We also appreciate the talents of Laurie Habedank who serves as our accompanist.  less
