It is composed of young highly driven music enthusiast who are willing to share their talent in singing for Sunday Masses at the Our Lady of Sorrows Parish. With the guidance of their choirmaster Mr. Kelvin Dela Cruz Kabigting, Sechron is strengthened by its mission of serving the community through ministry singing and continuously working together in harmony towards excellence and professionalism.

Our association is situated in Saint-Martin-Vésubie, in the heart of the National Park of the Mercantour, in the Southern Alps, north of Nice in the South-east of France, 50km from the seaside (Côte d’Azur).
Composed of about forty members, our group p... moreOur association is situated in Saint-Martin-Vésubie, in the heart of the National Park of the Mercantour, in the Southern Alps, north of Nice in the South-east of France, 50km from the seaside (Côte d’Azur).
Composed of about forty members, our group presents itself either as a women’s choir, or a men’s choir or mixed choir. Our repertoire is varied and original : Renaissance, classical, traditional or more contemporary rhythms such as jazz, afro-latino, or contemporary songs.
We celebrated in 2015 the thirtieth birthday of our association which has a long experience in exchange and sharing around choir singing. We have organized several festivals, masterclasses and various exchanges and thus contributed to the promotion of our region, the «département des Alpes-Maritimes» and to the development of choral singing (see examples below).

Newly formed in 2022, the group is currently comprised of a mixed choir, a men's choir, and a women's choir. The mixed choir meets at the Manchester Rugby Club, and the men's and women's choirs meet at the Wilmslow Rugby Club. The repertoire consists of a little bit of everything - madrigals, movies, musicals, spirituals, shanties, serious songs, silly songs - everything. Harpsichordist, organist and visionary choirmaster George Malcolm was one of the leading figures in British music after the Second World War. In his early life he had been Organ Scholar of Balliol College and Choirmaster of St Mary’s, Clapham. His work at Westminster Cathedral as Master of Music for twelve years from 1947 was the stuff of legend.
