We give you the pleasure of enjoying fine music and knowing you are a part of a musical community - a team that enriches the life of all of us. We currently have about 50 members. We feature a variety of music from popular to classical. Our selections are fun and challenging for singers and entertaining and rewarding for audiences. Open rehearsals for potential new members are held in September and January at the beginning of the rehearsal seasons. No formal auditions are held, but we do expect new members to be experienced in four part choral singing, and to have some ability to read along with sheet music. We are always concerned with maintaining a good balance of voices, and we cannot promise to accept all applicants. 3. AlpenChorFestival Oberwallis 2012, Galakonzert Kollegiumskirche Brig. The second movement from "Les Quatrains Valaisans" performed by the Deutscher JugendKammerchor. It won 2nd prize at the festivals composition competition.

Performance by the Mansfield University Concert Choir conducted by Peggy Dettwiler at the 2014 World Choir Games in Riga, Latvia. They won a gold medal and third place in the Mixed youth Choir Category.

Formed in the UK in Newcastle upon Tyne in 2011, Voice of the Town is a mixed-voice adult vocal group. The group was set up to perform exciting vocal material at a variety of events, and to give men and women who love singing, the platform to get involved...  onclick="$(this).getParent().getNext().style.display='';$(this).getParent().style.display='none';">moreone;">Formed in the UK in Newcastle upon Tyne in 2011, Voice of the Town is a mixed-voice adult vocal group. The group was set up to perform exciting vocal material at a variety of events, and to give men and women who love singing, the platform to get involved in a fun and sociable musical experience. The Voice Of The Town family has now grown and not only do we have our choir in Newcastle, but we now have choirs in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Birmingham.  

A performance in the international choir competition in Bratislava, where the choir won the Grand Prix of the entire competition in addition to three gold medals in various categories.
