This was the Vocal Artists Bon Voyage concert prior to their Argentine... moreThe Salt Lake Vocal Artists perform the premiere of "Stars" by Ēriks Ešenvalds live in concert on July 26, 2011 in Libby Gardner concert hall, under the direction of Dr. Brady Allred. This was the Vocal Artists Bon Voyage concert prior to their Argentine tour and performance at the 9th International World Choral Symposium. "Stars" was commissioned by and dedicated to the Salt Lake Vocal Artists and Brady Allred.
This piece calls for tuned glasses and specifically tuned Tibetan Singing bowls. In this video, the choir is using crystal singing bowls graciously provided by Crystal tones. http://www.crystaltones.com/

The Lea Singers are a Harpenden-based chamber choir of 30 singers. Our aims are to achieve high standards of singing and performance, and to contribute to our Local community.
Our annual programme typically includes 6-8 concerts in the Harpenden area a... moreThe Lea Singers are a Harpenden-based chamber choir of 30 singers. Our aims are to achieve high standards of singing and performance, and to contribute to our Local community.
Our annual programme typically includes 6-8 concerts in the Harpenden area and further afield, a cathedral tour, open singing days and the occasional recording. We rehearse on Wednesday evenings at St George’s School, Harpenden. We are known for good music making, varied repertoire including regular commissions, excellent soloists, interesting concert venues and loyal patronage of a range of Local hostelries….
We come from a wide range of musical backgrounds and have a thriving interns scheme for talented singers from Local schools.
Over our 50 year history, the Leas have sung under 11 permanent conductors and many guests, each of whom has made a distinctive contribution to our style and repertoire. In December 2011 we appointed Benjamin Goodson to take up the baton.
