We are sad that we are currently unable to stage live concerts and engage professional musicians to play with us. These musicians, who are largely self-employed, have been especially hard hit by the Covid-19 restrictions. For our next virtual concert in the Spring we hope to employ some and we are seeking donations to help make that happen. In addition, 50% of your donations will be passed directly to Help Musicians Scotland, a charity providing help, support and opportunities to empower musicians at all stages of their lives. We welcom...  moreThe J Singers combine singing ‘seriously for pleasure’ with performing charity fund-raising concerts throughout the county of Somerset. We sing a varied mix of music from traditional ballads and songs from the West End shows, to popular numbers. We welcome new adult members with or without prior choral experience. You do need some musical ability, but it's not essential to read music. Rehearsals are in Wembdon, near Bridgwater, on a Tuesday evening.
