Founded in October 2017, by andrew Leung. Vox Antiqua is formed by a group of passionate and professional Catholic singers in Hong Kong. We dedicate ourselves in praying and singing choral liturgical music in its highest standard.

No venue is too small or too big.The Choir regularly sings for charitable organisations and has over the years raised several thousands of pounds. Musical Director Judith Pinguey prides herself on the varied music the Choir sings and has a very progressive outlook on MVC Music and likes to challange the pre concieved image of a male voice Choir.  less

Also winning ...  moreIn the World Choir Championships which was held in Graz, Austria between 10th-17th July 2011, Boğaziçi Jazz Choir became the 'WORLD CHAMPION' in Contemporary Music and Folklore categories, and got the 'second prize' in Mixed Choirs category. Also winning 2 more gold medals in 'Grand Prix of Choral Music' the champions competed in, the Choir has come back to Turkey with a total of 5 gold medals. As Dunedin’s leading exponent of large-scale choral works, the Choir strives for the highest standards in performing the classics of the repertoire, such as Bach’s St Matthew Passion, and Christmas Oratorio, Handel’s Messiah, the Beethoven Ninth and Elgar’s The Dream of Gerontius. In addition, the Choir has performed major new compositions by New Zealand composers, such as Missa Pacifica by David Hamilton in 2006, and John Drummond’s The Journey Home in 2012. For its 125th anniversary the Choir commissioned a new work from Malcolm (Jack) Speirs: Cantico del Sole, and for its 150th anniversary celebrations the Choir commissioned a new work from Christopher Marshall: For What Can Be More Beautiful?.
