Les Chantres Musiciens’ repertoire is both varied and compl...  moreFounded in 1992 by their current Artistic Director Gilbert Patenaude, Les Chantres Musiciens is a choir of young men aged 17 to 29 who hail from the celebrated Les Petits Chanteurs du Mont-Royal. Les Chantres Musiciens’ repertoire is both varied and complex, comprising a range of works from the Romantic period (including Mendelssohn, Schubert, Schumann, and Brahms) to Post-Romantic and modern compositions (including, for example, Schafer, Reger, Schönberg, and Langlais). The ensemble has earned a reputation for excellence, confirmed by prizes at national and international competitions, tours, and several distinguished recordings. Their first tour brought them through Germany and France, garnering critical and public acclaim, particularly at the Festival de Musique de Moselle. In 2007, the choir participated in the International Men’s Voice Festival in Pleyben. Vox Camerata, has, since its inception, organized and participated in numer...  moreVox Camerata was established with a mission; to make choral music accessible to anyone who is keen on making choral music, regardless of their musical knowledge and background. Vox Camerata, has, since its inception, organized and participated in numerous performances. Its maiden recital was held in November 2004 at the function room of the Kg. Ubi Community Center. Since then, Vox has gone one to bring its annual Musica Intimœ series of concerts to the Legends@fort Canning, as well as the Esplanade Recital Studio. Apart from regular recitals, Vox Camerata also performs in various collaborations with other organizations, as well as guest performs in various events. Vox Camerata has previously collaborated with St. Margaret's Secondary School in the musical 'Anne of Green Gables' which was performed at the University Cultural Centre.
