• In 1996, awarded a Golden Diploma in the Felix Mendelssohn International Competition in Dautphetal, Germany. Placed first AND awarded another Golden Diploma in the Shirat Hayamin International Choir Competition in Netanya, Israel.
• In 2000, placed third in the Arrezo Choir Competition in Tuscany, Italy.
• In 2002, placed second in an international choir competition in Beijing, China.

The concert closed with a performance by The Suntones AND the Nashville Singers singing Gene Cokeroft's stirring arrangement of Danny Boy, with solos by Gene AND son Bruce.
