It was established in Rome (Italy) with the aim of promoting and encouraging Musical activities and the practice of choral singing. The Choir has taken part or organized more than 800 concerts, shows and Musical events in churches and places of culture in Rome, Italy and abroad. It took part in choral competitions, celebrations, weddings and commemorations. The Choir sings mostly a cappella and its repertoire ranges from sacred and spiritual Music to popular Music and from 16th century polyphony to choral works by contemporary authors, focusing especially on Italian composers.  less

Our latest performance was back up for Barry Manilow! Our Choir was founded in March, 2010 by founding director Matt Deller contact us at http://www.soundsofthesouthwestsingers.com/home We have performed on the stages of New York’s Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall. We have sung our way through Germany and Austria and on two separate occasions at Disneyland and California Adventures. We had the honor of performing at Pearl Harbor and aboard the USS Missouri in Hawaii. Our Choir also participated in a combined concert with Southwestern College in Chula Vista, CA and last fall we were chosen to be a part of a larger ensemble to sing in Rome, Italy, performing at the Vatican.
