The cornerstone of The Chorus ... moreAs a nationally recognized choral organization offering musical training and performance to a diverse group of choristers, The Tucson Arizona Boys Chorus has provided an artistic and cultural resource in Tucson for 75 years. The cornerstone of The Chorus is traditional boychoir music including sacred and secular pieces spanning The Middle Ages to The present.
The Chorus incorporates songs and ballads of The American Southwest and oTher repertoire into its program in a unique way. Costumed as cowboys The boys sing The songs of The saddle and showcase Their trick rodeo roping. The Chorus also performs contemporary music including Broadway show tunes, international songs, holiday music and modern favorites.
Additionally, The Chorus represents The Tucson community as a world renowned choral organization. It has toured throughout The U.S. and many countries around The world. En la... moreLa Escolanía María Auxiliadora (EMA) es un coro de voces blancas que nace en 1997 en el Colegio María Auxiliadora (Salesianas) de Cádiz por iniciativa de Antonio Hernández Asencio, profesor de música del centro y director musical desde su fundación. En la actualidad sus componentes vienen desde distintos centros escolares, institutos y facultades.
En sus ya 18 años de historia la EMA ha participado en multitud de concursos, encuentros y congresos con coros de todo el mundo y ha sido invitada a colaborar en galas y proyectos benéficos. Tuvieron especial relevancia los encuentros nacionales en Guadix (Granada), Toledo, Oviedo y Murcia, así como los congresos internacionales en Granada, Estocolmo, Roma y París. En julio de 2012 realizó una intensa gira de siete conciertos en la región de Aveyron (Francia), en abril de 2013 fue invitada al I Festival Internacional de Coros en Casablanca (Marruecos) y en 2014 al Festival Internacional de Canto Coral en Tánger.
