Our home is in heaven, this is a promise, So say yes to salvation." Part of the winter Singing Safari concert, Ipswich 2013. From the singing of the Soweto Gospel Choir, arranged by Chris Rowbury. This concert was the culmination of a six-week project which creates a choir from scratch for one night only. Each winter and summer, Chris Rowbury gathers a random bunch of singers from in and around Ipswich. There are no auditions and all songs are taught and learnt by ear. A Gospel song, celebrating Pentecost and recorded by the choir in their homes during the Covid-19 lockdown of Spring Summer 2020. The song premiered on London's Wandsworth Prison Radio on 31st May 2020 is dedicated to the staff and prisoners there.

We are a truly trans-generational choir consisting of staff, parents, colleagues, friends and family from across the Formby High School community. At full strength, we have over 80 talented members and we have recently launched a smaller ‘function’ group – the ‘G:Force Executive’ for weddings and private functions. We support the national Sing Up campaign and perform regularly across the local community. This exciting and innovative choir rehearses every Tuesday evening during term time, from 6.30pm til 8.00pm. For the past 18 years, TMC has provided and expanded access to great Gospel music and Gospel music education in Canada by a hard-working team of volunteers. The past almost two years have indeed been challenging for our world but there have been some benefits—one of them has been the ability to expand our reach by putting PowerUp online in 2021!
