Described as ‘a fine body of singers’ by John Packwood in the Bristol Evening Post, they have delighted audiences with their fresh, inspiring interpretations of choral repertory from many centuries. Members of the choir come from many parts of the UK for intensive weekends of music-making, culminating in CONcerts acclaimed for their invigorating choral sound, clarity of tone and texture, and innovative programming. In June 2010 Harmonia Sacra were invited to perform a programme of music by early seventeenth-century English Recusant musicians (including William Byrd, Richard Dering and Peter Philips) for a Swansea University History CONference at Oystermouth. Members saw the need for a name which reflected their distinctive sound and musical objectives. They chose Voyces – a uniting image, powerful in its simplicity, a word with a bit of a twist, reflecting the eclectic and often unusual repertoire of the choir. In using the archaic spelling – ‘Voyces’ – the choir acknowledges thousands of years of rich choral tradition whilst establishing itself in the 21st century choral landscape. The choir is fast making a name for itself premiering works never before heard in Perth or in fact the world. Voyces seeks to be an interactive and involved performing group in the local WA and wider Australian musical community. The Choir has held CONcerts in many cities of Greece and abroad, and made a special appearance in Cuba, where it performed a CONcert in the Cathedral of St. Francis of Assisi, in Havana, invited by the Cuban Ministry of Culture. The two CONcerts with the popular oratorio "AXION ESTI" of Mikis Theodorakis at Thessaloniki Palais des Sports and the "CARMINA BURANA" at Thessaloniki CONcert Hall, performed in collaboration with Thessaloniki’s State Symphony Orchestra (under the Cultural Olympiad), are the Choir’s most important moments until now. Rehearsals are Fridays, 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm in Dresden-Strehlen. Invited are people from age 16, regardless of their origin or their faith, to get to know fellowship and Christian love. With about 150 singers, an organization team of 12 permanent members, a professional engineering and logistics crew, a band CONsisting of professional musicians and a passionate director Gospelnight Dresden fulfills all requirements to offer visitors of worship a memorable evening in meeting with the joy of the Gospel. We welcom...  moreThe J Singers combine singing ‘seriously for pleasure’ with performing charity fund-raising CONcerts throughout the county of Somerset. We sing a varied mix of music from traditional ballads and songs from the West End shows, to popular numbers. We welcome new adult members with or without prior choral experience. You do need some musical ability, but it's not essential to read music. Rehearsals are in Wembdon, near Bridgwater, on a Tuesday evening.  

The International Chorale of Brussels is a multnational choir of fifty singers. Rehearsals are held in English at the British School on Monday at 20.00.
