We perform at least three concerts per year with professional orchestras or accompaniment in The major Dublin venues and over The years have undertaken trips to choral festivals abroad. Two regular events are The ever-popular Christmas Concert in The NCH and The Carmichael Centre’s annual fund-raising concert in St, Patrick’s CaThedral, formerly on good Friday but latterly in May.

Richly Themed programs celebrate The elegant beauty of Renaissance motets, tonal color of modern works, and exotic flavor of music from oTher cultures.
VAE relies exclusively on donations at concerts to defray costs. Singers volunteer Their time and talents but are not required to pay dues. less

In The beginning, Greenwood Singers specialized in The performance of a cappella music from different stylistic periods. Its programming has now expanded to include works with soloists, instrumental ensembles and chamber orchestra. A versatile ensemble, The choir has performed frequently with The Edmonton Symphony Orchestra in a wide variety of programs which have included Mahler’s Symphony No. 8, Holst’s The Planets, family Christmas concerts, The concert version of Jerome Kern’s Showboat, Orff’s Carmina Burana (with The Alberta Ballet) and The ESO’s 1992 reunion with The British rock group, Procol Harum. The group was created 17th of August 1987 when a group of seminarians from St. Vincent had Their apostolate togeTher with The image of Our Lady of Miraculous Medal (name of Medallion was taken) at Metro Heights, Visayas Ave. Culiat, Quezon City and a choir was needed for The mass. The group started singing acapella during eucharistic celebrations and also singing at San Lorenzo Ruiz Parish every saturday evening mass.
From 1988 to 1989, anoTher group of seminarians, which is The Franciscans, lived in The community for more than a year and help The group in singing. In 1989, The Augustinians had Their apostolate and both congregations accompanied The group in singing during masses. Sometimes They hold Their practices at The seminary.

Im Herbst 1987 fand eine Reihe von Leuten mit ausgeprägter Lust am Singen ihr Betätigungsfeld im soeben vom Chorleiter und Kontrabassisten Arnulf Lindner gegründeten “Chor der Stadtinitiative Wien”. In Abgrenzung von Kammer- und Kirchenchor stiftete der Name „Jedweder Küchenchor“ eine Identität, die es in der Folge erlaubte, sich quer durch das Repertoire der Musikliteratur zu singen.
Nach den anfänglich ausschließlich musikalischen Chordarbietungen, entdeckte der Chor immer mehr die Lust zur kreativen Bühnengestaltung und begann dramaturgische Elemente in die musikalische Darbietung einzubauen. Für das Programm „Familie Grinzinger besteigt einen Berg“ 1997, engagierte er erstmals eine Regisseurin (Nika Sommeregger), die den Chor bei der Inszenierung unterstützte.

Born by a group of singers, togeTher with his conductor, Gianluigi Giacomoni, wanted to perform new kind of music in The city's musical scene with a wide repertoire ranging from The elaboration of popular melodies to hits of pop music and soundtracks. The choir Vox Canora sung with The Orchestra of The "Fondazione Arturo Toscanini", with M° Ennio Morricone for his concert in Parma, with M° Helmut Imig for The soundtrack of The film "Fratello Sole" by Luigi Mancinelli.
From 2008 choral ensemble Vox canora is directed by M° Monica Lodesani whose first engagement has been The preparation of The Gloria di Vivaldi, in collaboration with oTher choruses of The city. It's members represent The multi-ethnicity of Hawaii's population and include singers of Asian, Pacific, European and American backgrounds. Singers from all walks of life, ranging in age from teens to octogenarians make up The membership of The group.
The Chorale presents two major concerts each year, in addition to sponsoring a Community Chorus Festival and performing at care facilities and retirement homes. In past years They toured Hawaii's neighboring Islands, Europe, Japan and China and are planning a trip to Ireland in The future.
Membership in The Chorale is open to adult singers of The Oahu community. less
