All participants are vocally trained, some of which at music academies. The ensemble prepares concerts twice a year, singing highly diverse repertoire, ranging from renaissance composItions to contemporary music and everything in between. TIEN cooperates wIth several conductors, each specialized in the repertoire and theme chosen for a programme, e.g. Fokko Oldenhuis, JanJoost van Elburg, Felix van den Hombergh, Sanne Nieuwenhuijsen and Nicky Bouwers.  less

The word 'vacilanDo' is Spanish, and refers to taking enjoyment out of the journey rather than focusing on the destination. As such, the choir will take a more casual approach to music-making, wIth fewer performances throughout the season than Òran, our young adult choir. The group will still place an emphasis on all the things that make Kokopelli's music-making unique, however: communIty, multiculturalism, choral excellence, and multifaceted performances.  less

In 2011 they published their first CD, Songs of FreeDom, a collection of protest songs wIth a strong connection to the Civil Rights Movement. In 2015 TSV published their first original single, “Graces (Dropping Again)” wrItten by ZogaroS. In 2017 TSV will release a concept album of 16 songs and vocal interludes composed and produced by all the girls. “Broken Dream”, wrItten by Chiara Cortez and Emanuele Jorma Gasperi, is the first single published to launch the record.  less

Including the annual concert held on "World Chorus Day" on the second Sunday of December every year, we perform at elementary and junior high schools, social welfare facilIties, etc., and sing at chorus festivals, giving the "TSURUBUN SOUND" in a variety of venues.
