The choir presents liturgical Music either written in, or translated to, the Hebrew language. In the few years of the choir's existence Liturgi-Kal is rapidly becoming much more visible on the Israeli Music scene due to its emphasis on excellence coupled with the superb choice of Musical partners. The choir has worked with the Israeli Chamber orchestra, the Ensemble Barrocade and has had the honor of hosting some of Israel’s finest young singers as well as special guests from abroad.  less

We are an adult all-volunteer Chorus with a membership that spans nationalities, generations and professions — united by a passion for Music and singing. Some of our members have had a lifetime of Music and choral experience; others are only just beginning to discover the joy of singing. Whichever stage our members are experiencing in their personal Musical journeys, the IFC is filled with enriching opportunities to learn and grow both as Musicians and as individuals. The IFC is committed to sharing our love for Music and choral singing with the community through two formal concerts a year and additional performances at private and public events.  less

Original members: Margareta Bengtson, Katarina Henryson, Anders Edenroth, Peder Karlsson and Anders Jalkéus. Under the baton of Giovanni Pasini, Qatar Concert choir regularly shares the stage with professional instrumentalists from the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra, Cinemoon Ensemble, and the Doha Baroque Ensemble (the latter two members of the Qatar Philharmonic), and professional vocal soloists including Felicitas Fuchs, Stefanie Iranyi, Clint van der Linde and Benjamin Williamson. QCC has fast become the principal choir of its kind, not only in Qatar, but in the Gulf region as a whole.  less
