In recent workshops we have sung songs by The Beatles, Pharrell Williams, Tracy Chapman, The Housemartins and Carole King - to name but a few... We run several courses throughout the year as well as group singing workshop holidays and retreats in France. Afterwards, simmer the audience at low heat for five minutes and finally – depending on the favored intensity – let it rise by 200 degrees for about half an hour up to 1, 5 hours. The result will satisfy every single taste and linger on for a very long time. A feast for both eyes and ears, looking for peers. This displays the recipe forming the basis of an evening with the str8voices from Hanover. Immense a cappella- energy out of 8 young throats, interpreting songs such as “run run run” by the Real Group in a quite own and individual way. Apart from that, str8voices’ wide repertoire consists of own songs and arrangements. All eight singers were skilled in a classical way, educating themselves in Swing and Jazz by attending several workshops and masterclasses (with Kirby Shaw, Bob Stoloff...    less

Our choral projects include: inclusive community choirs for people with and without disabilities, choirs specifically for adults with intellectual disabilities, and choirs for older people, with a particular focus on those with dementia and memory loss. There are now a total of ten choirs operating in the Dublin area, with more planned for 2015!
