Performed by Choir Matrix Women's Ensemble
Poem:
She is neither pink nor pale,
And she never will be all mine;
She learned her hands in a fairy-tale,
And her mouth on a valentine.
She has more hair than she needs;
In the sun 'tis a woe to me!
And her voice is a string of colored beads,
Or steps leading into the sea.
She loves me all that she can,
And her ways to my ways resign;
But she was not made for any man,
And she never will be all mine.
This work was commissioned and recorded remotely by Choir Matrix Women's Ensemble in March 2021, sponsored by Consonare Choral Community who holds all rights to this recording. Sound/Video Engineering by Sarah Kaufold, Artistic Director.

Las distintas secciones de este movimiento frenético, redoble de campanas y voces locas, declaman esta llamada de fuego en una energía casi incontenible.
Autor: Patrick Burgan, sobre tres poemas de Mark Blanchet
"Soleils
Abeilles aux danses enfiévrées
Soleils
Mondes enflammés
Résonnez à notre appel
Résonnez!
Lór de vos fléches
Transperce nos voix
Nous danson, ivres de lumi`re
Sur la voie lactée
Votre ronde sauvage
Entraîne nos rires
Qu'ils éclatent
Dans l' espace infini de vos flammes
Qu'ils consument à jamais l'obscurité
O Soleils, vous le savez
la joie est soeur du vertige
Ses lèvres ont l'éclat du vin."

There is no rose of such virtue
As is the rose that bare Jesu;
Alleluia.
For in this rose contained was
Heaven and earth in little space;
Res miranda.
By that rose we may well see
That he is God in persons three,
Pari forma.
The angels sungen the shepherds to:
Gloria in excelsis deo:
Gaudeamus.
Leave we all this worldly mirth,
And follow we this joyful birth;
Transeamus.
Alleluia, res miranda,
Pares forma, gaudeamus,
Transeamus. less
