Founded in 2003 our musical journey takes us from Jazz to soul, Pop to singer/songwriter. We are not professional singers but each of us has a very musical background and we use every opportunity to furTher our musical horizon, especially in terms of timbre and dynamics. Strong influences are The scandinavian contemporary choir scene led by Vocal Line, Bobby McFerrin, Take 6 and many more. Enjoy!

Its repertoire consists of Negro spirituals and African songs, as well as interesting part interpretations of Pop and soul songs. The Choir often performs at social events and Zagreb City events for tourists, and also regularly participates in domestic, national and international choral events, festivals and competitions.

Founded in 2009, Gotham Rock Choir was formed to provide an outlet for singers of all levels and backgrounds to explore contemporary music in a supportive, fun, uplifting environment, to provide an alternative to The city’s many traditional choirs and to provide much-needed sense of “cool” to choral singing. Each week, a diverse group of New Yorkers from all walks of life–ranging from show business professionals to avid shower singers–gaTher at a professional rehearsal studio in Midtown Manhattan to belt out an eclectic mix of music in stunning 4-part harmony in preparation for a final concert held at an off-Broadway Theatre. A ladies' a capella four part harmony group we have our roots in barbershop but sing all sorts of music from old standards and barbershop classics to mega Pop hits by groups like Abba and Queen. We perform sing outs for local groups in our area of Hampton in South West London, and take part in local fairs and festivals. Our weekly rehearsals on Wednesdays are a fun evening of singing, chatting and having fun togeTher. We are always open to having new members. Experience is not required, nor is The ability to read music as we have 'teach tracks' with The songs in your part on (tenor, lead, baritone or bass) and access to These are given alongside sheet music. We rehearse weekly and sing a variety of Pop, rock, folk, reggae and gospel. SoundRoutes Singers have performed to sellout audiences at venues across The local region and in 2012 recorded our debut EP Changing Key. The groundbreaking project was in conjunction with Addiewell Prison Choir, also run by Shona Brown, Britain's first prison choir and over £3000 was raised for Shelter Scotland.  less
