LCGC is known for Their up-tempo gospel flair, swing-beat, R’n'B, traditional and soulful arrangements, with Their invigorating choreography and vocal gymnastics – LCGC is outstanding to watch! It’s 40+ members perform just about anywhere, private corporate functions, after-show parties, conferences, schools, cabaret functions, clubs, weddings, christenings, funerals, prisons, churches, open-air festivals, Theatres and concert halls. LCGC have sung on The soundtrack for Walt Disney’s “The Lion King”, performed for Nelson Mandela during his famous visit to London, officiated at many celebrity weddings and supported Madonna on stage during Live 8. They represent The best of British and have been sponsored by The British Council at international festivals in Europe, Africa and Israel. We're a Choir of about 40 adults who enjoy singing contemporary and fun songs in a relaxed environment. We rehearse on Monday nights above a pub in London SE22. We currently have a waiting list for Alto and Soprano parts but we're worth it!

A gospel song, celebrating Pentecost and recorded by The Choir in Their homes during The Covid-19 lockdown of Spring Summer 2020. The song premiered on London's Wandsworth Prison Radio on 31st May 2020 is dedicated to The staff and prisoners There.

The Choirs perform regularly in major London venues including Royal Albert Hall, and sing with professional orchestras. They also tour extensively, and have performed in US, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Seychelles and across Europe. We welcome visiting Choirs and enjoy joining with oTher youth Choirs in concerts. We have a training Choir for younger singers, and a Choir for boys whose voices have changed.

We perform a wide repertoire of secular and sacred music, with and without accompaniment. Our concerts are at various venues in and around The borough, and once a year we perform with a small professional orchestra. We also hold regular social gaTherings, to include families and friends, and enjoy musical evenings and events. Would you like to sing with us? New members in all voices are warmly welcomed. After a few weeks There is a short informal audition, which includes some sight-reading. Members are asked to pay a modest subscription of £11 per month by direct debit. We rehearse weekly during term time on Monday evenings from 8.00pm to 10.00pm, in The small parish hall at All Saints Church, Long Lane, Hillingdon, UB10 9BT. The Choir has over sixty singers rehearsing each week and The main focus in rehearsals is preparation for performances. These performances can take The form of concerts and appearances in festivals and oTher events in The local community.
