The SouThend Boys' Choir was formed in 1972 and The Girls' Choir in 1988. The Choirs perform regularly in major London venues including Royal Albert Hall, and sing with professional orchestras. The Choirs perform regularly in major London venues including Royal Albert Hall, and sing with professional orchestras. They also tour extensively, and have performed in US, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Seychelles and across Europe. We welcome visiting Choirs and enjoy joining with oTher youth Choirs in concerts. We have a training Choir for younger singers, and a Choir for boys whose voices have changed.  

We are a non-audition Choir, open to all. We rehearse at The Bernie Grant Arts Centre on Tuesday evenings from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. We rehearse at The Bernie Grant Arts Centre on Tuesday evenings from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. We aim to unite and represent our community through our joy of singing. The Choir has over sixty singers rehearsing each week and The main focus in rehearsals is preparation for performances. These performances can take The form of concerts and appearances in festivals and oTher events in The local community.
