Born in September of 2012, the New Hope – Solebury & Lambertville Community Choir is a true community-based and community-oriented chorus, made up of members from the New Hope, Solebury, Lambertville, and immediate surrounding areas. The Choir is non-audition, and is open to all singers and would-be singers, ages 14 to 84 (and beyond). NHS&LCC is the New Hope area’s musical voice. Òran began as an alumni offshoot of the Kokopelli Youth Choir, but it has since developed into a group made up of young adults from all over Edmonton and the surrounding area. Each brings a different viewpoint to the group, but all are united in their passion for singing. The Choir Stresses the same philosophical goals as its younger counterpart, Striving to achieve musical excellence and artiStic integrity, as well as combining new interpretive techniques with more traditional choral expertise.
