The cornerstone of the Chorus is traditional boychoir music including sacred and secular pieces spanning the Middle Ages to the present. The Chorus incorporates songs and ballads of the American Southwest and other repertoire into its program in a unique way. Costumed as cowboys the boys sing the songs of the saddle and showcase their trick rodeo roping. The Chorus also performs contemporary music including Broadway show tunes, international songs, holiday music and modern favorites. Additionally, the Chorus represents the Tucson community as a world renowned Choral organization. It has toured throughout the U.S. and many countries around the world. Our aim was to capture a serious English Boys Choir poise while making the most of the poems playful spookiness, so we elicited help from the men of the chorus to try and 'frighten' the women singing.

Historical sources confirm the existence in the 15th century of a vocal ensemble composed of students and teachers of the Cathedral School. Uninterruptedly since 1939, The Poznań Nightingales Choir has worked and given concerts under the baton of Prof. Stefan Stuligrosz for 73 years. Prof. Stefan Stuligrosz died on 15 of June, 2012.
