Born by a group of singers, together with his CONductor, Gianluigi Giacomoni, wanted to perform new kind of music in the city's musical scene with a wide repertoire ranging from the elaboration of popular melodies to hits of pop music and soundtracks. The choir Vox Canora sung with the Orchestra of the "Fondazione Arturo Toscanini", with M° Ennio MorriCONe for his CONcert in Parma, with M° Helmut Imig for the soundtrack of the film "Fratello Sole" by Luigi Mancinelli. From 2008 choral ensemble Vox canora is directed by M° Monica Lodesani whose first engagement has been the preparation of the Gloria di Vivaldi, in collaboration with other choruses of the city. The next year, 2009, as part of ModuLAB studies in Casalecchio di Reno (Bo), the choir partecipated in part of the soundtrack of the film "The man who will come" directed...    less

It's members represent the multi-ethnicity of Hawaii's population and include singers of Asian, Pacific, European and American backgrou...  moreThe Honolulu Chorale, established in 1966, is one of the oldest non-audition community choruses in the State of Hawaii. It's members represent the multi-ethnicity of Hawaii's population and include singers of Asian, Pacific, European and American backgrounds. Singers from all walks of life, ranging in age from teens to octogenarians make up the membership of the group. The Chorale presents two major CONcerts each year, in addition to sponsoring a Community Chorus Festival and performing at care facilities and retirement homes. In past years they toured Hawaii's neighboring Islands, Europe, Japan and China and are planning a trip to Ireland in the future. Membership in the Chorale is open to adult singers of the Oahu community.  less

No previous experience required! Learn how to use your voice, sing in parts, read music, and discover great songs in a fun and supportive environment. The group sings in Hebrew, Yiddish, Ladino and English, and has an informal CONcert/sing-along each term. We also do small performances for charity.

Le 6 avril 2002, c'est sur la scène du Théâtre National de la Criée de Marseille, qu'ils ont donné la première représentation d'un Opéra crée sur le Stabat Mater de J.B. Pergolèse. C'est ensuite en 2003 à l'Odéon de Marseille et en 2004 à Vitrolles, que cette représentation s' est poursuivie. Le choeur CONtinue le 9 Mai 2004 avec l'interprétation du Stabat Mater à l'Abbaye St-Victor de Marseille, lieu culte de la musique sacrée. En 2008 c'est au Toursky avec l'opéra des opéras "Le Choeur des Anges" que le choeur se représente. Le CONsécration est enfin venue le 4 Avril 2013 avec le spectacle Operassimo représenté à l'opéra de Marseille à guichet fermé. Depuis septembre 2005 une nouvelle formation du choeur est née : ce sont les " les binjamins" . Eaton, RES has played a leading role in Edm...  moreRES is dedicated to the enjoyment, study and performance of great choral music, to an international standard of excellence, and to fostering the appreciation of this music. Founded in 1951 by the late Richard S. Eaton, RES has played a leading role in Edmonton’s cultural community for more than six decades. In addition to presenting its own CONcerts, the choir is a regular guest of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, and collaborates frequently with other Edmonton ensembles, including the Alberta Baroque Ensemble in this performance. It has also collaborated with other Canadian choirs in the past, including the Calgary Philharmonic Chorus, the Vancouver Bach Choir and the Winnipeg Philharmonic Choir. This past summer RES embarked on a two week tour of Germany, highlighted by performances at the St. Thomas Church in Leipzig, where Bach was Kapellmeister for much of his career.  less

Full Circle sing songs of all styles in three or four part harmony. You do not need to read music and there are no auditions. We sing for fun and socialise outside of choir. We love to perform, especially for charity.

Our ethos: CONTEXT Historical, social and environmental CONtexts of music, and the influence of these on performance, will be central to rehearsals and CONcerts. They will define the themes of our repertoire each year. COLLABORATION Based in Leeds, the choir has numerous opportunities to collaborate with other ensembles, composers and charities to promote and support musicians throughout the North. We hope to work with a variety of musicians to develop quality and future collaboration within the choir. COMMUNICATION No music?! Yes, we will perform without sheet music in CONcerts. This smallest and most select of the Hofstra choirs comprises the best singers at the University, both within and outside the Department of Music, and focuses on the distinct art of unaccompanied, or a cappella, ensemble singing, presented in carefully chosen performance spaces that are uniquely attuned to celebrate the human voice's potential. From an educational standpoint, the ensemble serves two main functions for the University. First, it acts as a laboratory for Hofstra’s future music educators, both undergraduate and graduate, providing outlets for the exploration of the art of ensemble preparation through the study of the highest-quality choral literature.
