Esta agrupación, pionera y decana de la actividad coral argentina, ha desarrollado una intensa labor artística difundiendo la música coral universal, ofreciendo numerosos conciertos en casi la totalidad de las provincias del país y representando a la Argentina en el exterior. Es el primer coro latinoamericano en adjudicarse el Gran Premio Europeo (Francia - 2009), máxima competencia coral a nivel mundial. Merecen destacarse, por la gran repercusión del público y de la crítica especializada, las actuaciones en el Teatro Independencia y Anfiteatro Frank Romero Day (Provincia de Mendoza); Auditorio Juan Victoria (Provincia de San Juan); Teatro Colón de Buenos Aires en 1971, 1975, 1977, 1980, 1988, 2003 y 2011, en el Luna Park en 1994 y 1995 y en el extranjero los conciertos realizados en importantes salas de Alemania, Austria, Chile, Dinamarca, España, Estados Unid...    less

Winner of the first prize in Warsaw International choir Festival 2007. Our repertoire contains International Music, but especially Arabic songs from different heritages (Lebanese, Palestinian, Egyptian, Iraqi, Syrian, Mouashah...). And for the first time, we have Arabic songs arranged with quarter tones. Our aim is to show the real civilized image of the Arab world and to spread our rich Music.  

We are a group of friends who got to know each other while singing in the same academic or chamber choirs. Eventually, our passion for the classical Music led us to create our own vocal ensemble. In our repertoire there are also some pop Music arrangements.

In new season the choir continues to make up steps towards new artistic activities. the main activities of the choir are finding the new ways to Music, its expresion and presenting new ideas, cooperation with composers and many professional Musicians. Now, the choir Mūza is making a new image and wants to show multiplicity of the choir Music. In its programs the choir performes modern Music and a big part is left of Latvian classical Music as well as traditional Latvian folk-Music. the choir Mūza was established in 1947. Its founder and leader through out many years has been maestro Leonids Vigners (1906-2001). In 1999 the choir transferred into new direction and it became a youth choir. From 2006 the artistic director and the main conductor is Guntis Cimiņš.  less
