The choir gives and annual Easter and Christmas performance, an annual Summer Concert and European Tour. Their repertoire ranges from Handel’s Zadok the Priest to Karl Jenkin’s The Armed Man. The Choir has performed in many major venues around in Europe, including St Nicolas Church Prague to St Mark’s Venice, and has sung in many commercial concerts including premiere of James Brett’s Book of Dreams and performed for the Queen’s arrival at Bushy Park during her Majesty’s Golden Jubilee, where the choir also deputised for the Opera Babes. The singers in the choir are experienced musicians, many having sung with other Choirs and choral societies and many are instrumentalists and instrumental music teachers. Our choir is made of amateur singers WHO love to make music. The conductor Zafer Gökçer has been conducting the choir since 2011. we love to sing classical, Turkish pop, jazz and folk music. Anyone WHO love to sing in a mixed choir is wellcome to our choir.

Movement and/or acting plays a part, with plenty of opportunities for solo and small group singing if desired.

The Choir is conducted by Paul Robinson and rehearses every Wednesday at the Gillingham Golf Club at 8pm. The Choir is currently looking for new members; the ability to read music is not essential, however, it is helpful and can be very useful. The Choir welcomes anyone who has a passion for singing. Like most traditional male voice Choirs we learn all of our pieces from memory and do not use copies. The choir has a wide-ranging repertoire from West End showstoppers to opera, religious and traditional choral music. The Choir has gained a reputation for doing many concerts for charity and have raised a lot of money over the years for a number of different causes. The Choir has performed twice at the Royal Albert Hall with over one hundred Choirs in the Festival of Brass and Voices for cancer research UK. The Choir has made several tours both at home and abroad and has raised thousands of pounds for charity totaling nearly £3000 in the past year alone  less
