In addition, it also conducts theoretical and practical studies in the field of Western Classical Music. Başkent Philharmonic aims to present both the works of our Contemporary Turkish Music and outstanding examples of Western Music to people by organising music education, historical and theoretical research, concerts, lectures and conversations appealing to all segments of society with its Choir, orchestra and musicology sub-unit. Our members are of different ages and from various professional groups, including psychological counsellors, psychologists, financial advisors, teachers, legal advisors, architects and more.
