With a membership of around 140 singing a wide range of music, from big choral works to more modern pieces, both classical, secular and popular, SingSoc welcomes people with a wide range of experience who just want to sing, whether student or not.  

We're a group of young professionals who specialise in early music, but Polyphony especially. The singers are made up of Cathedral choral scholars and Oxbridge choral scholars. They're directed by Matthew Collins.

The Ebor Singers was formed by Paul Gameson in 1995. The group includes past and present music students at the University, some of whom also pursue solo careers. The group includes past and present music students at the University, some of whom also pursue solo careers. Acclaimed for performances and recordings that sparkle with fresh insight and vibrant musicality, The Ebor Singers has earned a reputation as one of the most exciting professional vocal ensembles in the north of England, specialising in early and contemporary music.

In 2012, the birth of the Priamo Gallisay Cultural Association completes the cultural path desired by the founders. The Corale has about 30 members among its ranks.
