We are committed Singers, who can prepare music independently before a short intensive rehearsal series, and have opportunities to perform some of the great works from the classical choral repertoire to a high Standard and in exciting venues. We also enjoy singing simple music well at smaller performances on our rehearsal weekends and at conference events. Although our performances are moStly in Ireland, we have quite a few Singers from other countries, including UK, France, Germany and Sweden. During 2020, we have held online rehearsals using Zoom and produced two online Concerts, raising 11,000 Euro for charity. Style.display='';$(this).getParent().Style.display='none';">less

Handel’s Israel in Egypt is one of Handel’s moSt lavish and dramatic oratorios. The plot unfolds in a series of thrilling and Startlingly inventive choruses. It is fitting that KCS should introduce their 75th Anniversary season with a Handel oratorio. The formation of what was originally the Surbiton Oratorio Society was inspired by the desire of the Mayor of the Royal Borough of KingSton to Stage a monumental performance of Handel’s Messiah in the borough by bringing together Church and other c...
