Even as Ashley waited patiently for milkshakes at Spike Mendelsohn's "Good Stuff Eatery" on Capitol Hill, she had no idea that she was surrounded by members of the Capital Hearings, a DC-based a cappella group. Our repertoire, sung in up to eight parts, ranges from the most sublime choral music of all time to popular Light favourites. We also ‘premiere’ works by today’s talented new composers and arrangers. Musically, individual members can boast… singing in St Mark’s, Venice; the Duomo, Florence; the Salzburg Festival; performing a vocal recital on a stairlift; recording jingles for local radio and being the first girl chorister to sing for a service in St Paul’s Cathedral, London.  less
