Having been friends and in The choral scene for twenty years, The two have been talking about a project like this for around fifteen years. Spurred by The release of The revised English missal, Alejandro and Eugene both thought it a good time to finally restart The project that They had shelved for some time. Only now, The idea wasn’t just to end with a single album; The idea was now to establish a ministry that would introduce a new generation of music to Philippine Catholics. The new ministry would have as its aim The creation of beautiful music to help The faithful to a more prayerful, solemn state of mind. We are a small, friendly chorus of women of all ages. We enjoy entertaining and competing, and have a lot of fun, whilst constantly working on improving our sound. We're a group of about 20 men & women, and sing in 3 or 4 (or more) part harmony. Quorum love to raise money for local causes - covering all sorts of charities, in all sorts of venues. Quorum Singers of St Albans has been singing for over 25 years, and perform around 3 times a year in St Albans or locally in Hertfordshire. We rehearse once a week on Wednesdays, throughout The term time, and can often be found performing in Christopher Place around Christmas time!  less

Our mission is to spread a message of respect for The natural world through music from across The globe, and we have performed at events such as Glastonbury Festival 2013 Opening Ceremony, and The United Nations World Environment Day concert in Staines and in Oxford Street, central London. We welcome men and women of all abilities, and sessions are taught by ear so no experience is needed, just a passion for singing and a love of The earth! Our Musical Director is The renowned Susie Ro Prater who has supported choirs and natural voice movement workshops for many years. Our very enjoyable choir practices take place once a month at The HyThe Centre in Egham, Staines, easily accessible by train from Central London and free parking onsite.
